The New Allergy-Buster: Chirokinetics Explained PEANUTS HIDDEN IN MOISTURISER SPARKS OFF TOT’S LIFE-THREATENING ALLERGYPublished in ‘The Surrey Advertiser’ - July 2000 Five year old Sarah from Dorking, Surrey, had learnt to live with her dairy products allergies; it was her life-threatening peanut allergy that was causing her parents Andrew and Kate the most concern.
“I will never forget how Sarah suffered a major reaction after my mother in law mistakenly gave her a crust of toast with peanut butter on it. Sarah’s face has ballooned, she was salivating, her nose was streaming and her skin was covered in hives,” said mother Kate. “Within about 10 minutes, Sarah had changed from a boisterous, alert one year old to a limp rag doll, it was horrible.”
“It took ages to track down the peanut connection, but we finally discovered that Sarah was reacting to the homeopathic baby cream I had used to moisturise her skin. It contained peanut oil,” said Kate. The product a brand leader, was naturally assumed by both Sarah’s parents to be safe. “These past few years have been a nightmare for all of us, checking everything Sarah eats and all the toiletries we have used on her to ensure none of them contain peanut by-products. I am sure people don’t realise that peanut oil is used very often in creams and toiletries,” says Kate. David Stevens at the Vital Body Clinic tested Sarah’s sensitivities to a whole range of foods and everyday products, even checking her for radiation from TV and videos, before discovering that Sarah was not absorbing calcium and iron from her diet.
“The Vital Body Clinic used a form of chiropractic technique on Sarah’s spine, and muscle testing. David was able to redress the allergies successfully – much to the amazement of both me and my husband; I just kept asking him “How do you do that?” It was remarkable” said Kate. Now the whole family are indebted to David Stevens at the Vital Body Clinic for the progress he has made treating Sarah’s allergies. “I would thoroughly recommend a visit to see David Stevens, no matter how vague the allergic reaction” she added. |
